I finished reposting blog posts from my old blog and I wasn’t supposed to post until next week, but I got my package today and I wanted to share what I have. Nothing much, but I wanted to try out this haul thing and see if I want to continue with it. Below are some of the things I purchased (everything I bought isn’t in the picture because I was lazy to gather everything, haha).
Items Purchased:
– Clinique Moisture Surge
– Bare Escentuals (Bare Vitamins) Prime Time
– Urban Decay XL Eyeshadow Primer Potion
– Milani Brow Fix in Medium
– Witch Hazel Toner For Face & Body
– Olay Warming Deep Purifying Cleanser (Love this!)
– Olay 2-in-1 Cleanser and Pore Refiner
– N.Y.C. Sparkle Shadows in Champagne and Pink Champagne
– Smudge Brush by Sonia Kashuk (Similar to the 219 but smaller)
– Fan Blender Brush
– Super Small Angle Shader Brush
– 2 Eyeshadow Palettes
The only eyeshadows I’ve used are from Clinique, Benefit and a few drugstore brands. I usually don’t use palettes since I know I won’t be using all of the colors, but I kind of wanted to try them out before I start purchasing the Yaby palettes or MAC Pro palettes since they are pricey. A friend of mines had a palette before me and I’ve used it a few times. I did like it so I decided to finally purchase some of my own so I don’t have to borrow from my friend anymore, lol. I bought two palettes – the 88 Matte/Satin Palette (US$19) and the 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette (US$23). I wanted to get the 96 Palette, but there were colors that I liked in the 88 more, so I decided to purchase it instead.
I ordered these palettes from Stars Makeup Haven because I actually heard and read some things about Coastal Scents, and I don’t really want to deal with any of it. Plus, The palettes are cheaper on SMH! They both came in a matte box cover and both palettes had a shiny finish to them (I was hoping they were matte because I hate seeing fingerprints, but meh). Everything was in tact and nothing was broken and I was happy that they added extra bubble wrap (as I asked them too) because it didn’t come in a box as you can see in the first picture above. I didn’t want to do any swatches since I know these have been around for quite sometime already.
I also got a free sample! It’s called, “Smoke And Mirrors” and its a nice satin-shimmery type of black. Its really pretty and it actually looks a bit similar to the black in the 88 Shimmer Palette. So I have a back up for that and I don’t have to use the one in the palette just yet. Sweet.

I don’t know if Malaysia has these stores, but you can find witch hazel at target, walgreens, wal-mart and just about any drugstore. It’s located at the band aid section.

Thanks for the information. It’s kinda hard to find them in Malaysia, even in the local drugstore because they hardly carry them in.
